The second ASM Conference on Salmonella, this conference will focus on topics related to Salmonella pathogenesis, disease, and potential therapeutic solutions. There will be an emphasis on extending the knowledge of Salmonella - tissue culture interactions to in vivo disease mechanisms and understanding how Salmonella causes disease. Another major consideration will be the various hosts it colonizes, as well as potential therapeutics, including vaccines, antibiotics (and resistance), and other therapies.
